1 We are satisfied that on the evidence given by the claimant that the respondent terminated his services on the ground of redundancy and that he has not paid him any severance pay nor has he given him any vacation leave during the period he worked with him.

2 The claimant is entitled both to severance pay and to pay in lieu of vacation.

3 Section C44 of the Antigua Labour Code (“the code”) prescribes the method or computing severance pay and declares that an employee should receive at least one days pay at his basic wage for each month of service as severance pay. The employee in this case served from March 3 ^rd 1972, to August 30 ^th 1977 which is equivalent to a period of 66 months.
